Northern Michigan Weekend
Re: Northern Michigan Weekend
There's a lot to be said for how our style of play has changed as well. We've become very physical the past few years and have been playing a lot of freshman and sophomores who don't yet have the bodies for that kind of physicality.

What you are seeing is the depth at each position. More attention is being paid to the guys and their injuries. Rather than allowing them to hide injuries and play through the pain, they are concentrating on putting healthy bodies on the ice and allowing players to heal. Injured players on the ice does not help us when there are equally skilled guys 100% healthy.longtimeobserver wrote:The number of games lost injuries over the past couple of years is concerning. I don't remember this many over the recent years. How much of the medical staff is going to be turning over now that Doug Boersma is leaving?

Why is our best player around the net playing the point on the powerplay?
