Next season only 8 teams from the WCHA will make the playoffs. Either the ECAC or Hockey East (can't remember and too lazy to look it up) only has 8 teams make the playoffs this year. So technically, those teams who don't make the playoffs could end their season with a win.

Yes, I'm being a smart azz. It sucks that hockey is done for this season.

We're the refs really that bad last night? Anyone that went there want to comment? ND fans were complaining that the refs let us back in on Saturday.

I wasn't pleased with the reffing, but at least we finally got an embellishment call against ND.

Notre Dame played fantastic. Yes, officiating was suspect but don't take credit away from a very good Irish team.

If I recall the third period correctly, one look at the stat sheet would show how ridiculous that statement is.

I think that's becoming a new trend in college sports. "We would've won by more but the refs hate us."
