I said the same thing about the line change with 12 seconds left (I looked up at the clock)!

Also, we are alone in 2nd place right now since UAA swept MSU this weekend! :supz: That could change next weekend when we are off and Ferris plays at MSU. ....Still struggling with typing MSU and not referring to the egg suckers! Maybe I should just call them Mankato... :?

GO FALCONS!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

It was obvious the refs were giving UAF every opportunity to get a goal to compensate for the linesman's "assist" on our goal.
Last seconds line change definitely weird. We should've had that covered during Nanooks' timeout, or called our own to get that settled.
Whoever schedules this conference should take a look at not having such a disparity of conference games played. There should never be a six games difference. Looking at conference wins percentage (which you can't get on WCHA website, but is available at USCHO), BG ranks third in that category.
Ferris .929
Mankato .625
BG .583
NMU .542
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.

re scheduling, part of that is on the B1Gs and NCHC--since they have to fill their schedules with OOC games in Nov., Dec., and even January. Those small conferences mess it up for everybody.

speaking of the NCHC, miami now at 3-7-0, sitting at the bottom of the table. muahahahaha.
