That was one physical hockey game. Jeez I felt like I was watching Wings-Avs from 20 years ago. Two top 10 teams just going all out

Played with a ton of urgency this weekend and our speed and talent were show cased. At times got physical and we pushed right back. I believe someone mentioned that Minnesota State is legit. No one commented on it. But, I will say BG is legit as well. We put ourselves in a good position to contend for a league title and an NCAA at-large bid.

Rest up boys and come back with that urgency you had this weekend and you will like the places your efforts will take you.

Minnesota State played like a team that knew their opponent was better.

And to top off a great weekend, Spezia just signed a professional tryout contract with Grand Rapids.

The Minnesota State thread on USCHO has had exactly 1 post since we swept them and it's usually a pretty active thread. I guess they're still licking their wounds...

I also searched for a Minnesota State message board of some kind but, as of yet, I haven't found one.
