It's a fair point to raise, but Mankato did just win by this exact score against this exact team last Saturday, so I'm not going to be overly concerned. Happy Dop could get his 3rd shutout of the season and that we could grab win #12 tonight.

LSSU is apparently a "Saturday team" this year, so we'll have our hands full tomorrow night. Need to come out strong and finish the first half with a pair of wins.

It would take a full blown collapse from BG to not make the tourney. Yes it’s early, but the quality wins will make up for occasional losses to terrible WCHA teams.

The sweep of Notre Dame maybe isn't looking quite so great: ND has lost six straight, but to teams in the KRACH top 12.

Lake Superior is hard to play against when they are allowed to play their clutch and grab game. They came right out and established that early. Hard to get a clean shot off when you have another stick buried in your hands.

The concerning part is the number of good shots that missed the net completely. If half of those were to actually be on target, the score would have been a lot different. Tonight, they need to work on getting some shots from the slot. Last night almost every shot came from outside the goalpost to faceoff dot area (Grade "A" chances).

Anytime you can win and the other team is dictating the style of play your doing something right. We've struggled with lower tier teams that slow it down and do alot of clutch and grabbing overthe years. A win tonight might mean we're heading in the right direction instead of a month of splitsville when we can't adapt to other styles of play.

Coach better watch what he wishes for. The Lake Superior commentators complained a couple times about them. Referencing the amount of clutch and grab that was let go, and then a "weak" penalty being called on Lake Superior.

Let's just finish this game without any injuries. That "charging" call was ugly and should have been reviewed.
