Brandon Kruse adds another goal and BG is up 2-0 with about 9 to play in the first period.

Weird looking tip play from NMU cuts the lead in half with 8 to play in the first period.

Looks like Gould may have hurt his shoulder. Anybody else see that?

Shoulder or wrist? Saw him skate to the bench but didn't see where he got hurt. Camera work is atrocious tonight.

Alex Barber, on the PP! Big goal puts BG up 3-1 with 11:42 to play in the middle frame.

Couldn’t really tell but he’s back out there.

Somewhat questionable call puts Dougherty in the box. 20 seconds later, NMu again cuts the lead to 1, with BG now leading 3-2 with 8 to go in the 2nd period.

And Taylor Schneider has a response! Falcons lead 4-2 with a little over 4 to play in the 2nd period.

I think he only played one shift that period. Scardina was moved up in his place.

END OF TWO: Falcons lead, 4-2. NMU leads shots, 35-30.

Finish strong in the final 20, boys. Let's get this W.

True WCHA fashion. Hit with your stick and it's not a penalty. Use your body and it's a 50/50 chance you're going to the box.

That's a pretty weak call, right? I mean, I'm no hockey savant, but I see shoulder to shoulder.

12:35 remains in regulation, and the Falcons still lead, 4-2.
