Bowling Green's mid-season addition has as many points, more goals, and more points per game than Tech's (the preseason player of the year).

Agree totally, great addition. He looked like a deer in the headlights in his first game but once he mentally told himself he belongs he's contributed every time out on the ice.

JP, I see McMahon has a blurb on Swankler missing the series this weekend, anything we don't already know or is it a rehash of what we've been discussing?

Does anyone have an injury update? Here's what I have, let me know if something's incorrect:

O'Hara - Out for season
Wozney - Out for season
O'Hanisain - Out for season
Pasanen - Out, unknown for how long

O'Hanisain is injured? Thought he was scratched since Blake became healthy.

Not sure what's going on with Schneider. In his limited action this season, he has not looked well.

What’s that saying - the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree?

Well, in this case, they’re both just batshit crazy. So it’s more like 2 peas in a pod.

Rehashing. Knee injury. He thinks it'll benefit BG that he's not playing so all focus can be on the games.

I am jacked for this weekend. It probably means I am just setting myself up for pain, but it's so great when this team is playing competitive hockey and has something to play for.

Can’t wait to see some BG hockey in-person this weekend. Going to the game on Saturday, been too long, haven’t been to a home game since 2019. I did see them in Columbus more recently.

From Mark Swankler (Austen’s dad) on Twitter:

No surprise we are not talking about players being suspended for 1/2 the season for “code of conduct”
Small town cover up
And then they add them to leadership 🤣🤣#smalltowncoverup
But really ,lets call it what it really is “hazing”

I linked him to the BGSU Hockey Fans’ shoe donation project and told he could donate any team issued gear he wants for a good cause. Dude is embarrassing.
