2-1 after 2. Aside from som quality zone time at the end of the period from Hurst, the play has been in our o-zone most of the period. Their goalie bailed them out a couple of times.

2-1 win. WAY to many penalties. Mercyhurst hit the iron twice in the last 5 min. We were lucky to get the win. Need more discipline to cut down on the penalties. But a win is a win.

2-1 Final. It's a win. And it's good game video to learn from. I'm expecting a very different look to the lineup tomorrow. Not because of poor play. Because it's Dennis Williams and he wants to be able to put the best lineup on the ice, and doesn't have a large talent gap of players.

We killed off 7 penalties last night which is really good, but we can't be taking 7 penalties a game. Looks like Stoever didn't dress last night, did I get that wrong? The only lineup sheet I saw listed Moore and Eigner and shots of the bench only showed Eigner.

Our defense looked a bit better than last year. Still a couple of mistakes here and there and a bad turnover that nearly lead to a goal but Moore looked good (aside from the rebound he gave up). It's one game but it's encouraging.

I learned at the open house that Stoever is hurt and Evola is still recovering from surgery.

Discipline still an issue it seems. Moore looks good. First one tonight was a tough angle for him, though.

Down 2-1 after 1. Norris hits a guy in the head with his stick, gets 5 and the gate, they finally convert on the PP. Sigh.

Moore is indeed playing well.

Halfway through the game we had a 3 min 5-on-5 stretch where we owned them but couldn’t score. Kabaniv missed a breakaway. Still down 2-1.

Mercyhurst goalie on fire. He stops two more grade A chances. They come down on a 2-on-1 and snipe one past Moore. Now down 3-1 in the waning moments of the second.

Norris is going for the puck and not even looking at the player, who is falling down. Don't like the major, but whatever, it looks bad. The game misconduct is atrocious. That play is literally why the changes to the contact to the head review have been made.
