No way. Good things coming. We owe it to the current players to not get lost in what next season may be.

The league is wide open. There's going to be a lot of close games. We know what these guys are capable of. They just gotta find that rhythm that works for everybody. Current results as they are, the eye test says they're better than last season.

Falcons announce signing of Brayden Crampton. Last 2 times I remember a mid-season signing announcement are Evola and Schankula.
Brayden Crampton is November's Ironworker of the Month!

Crampton's 13 total points (3G-10A) were tied for 2nd among all WHL dmen in November. His month was highlighted by a game-winning goal in OT vs Kelowna on November 9 — his 200th career WHL game.

He's currently on a 6-game point streak that includes 8 assists. Crampton also became the Chiefs' 15th-highest-scoring dman of all time this month, with 16-88-104 in his 207 career games thus far.

Adam Smith and Jordan Ernst? Or do I have that wrong?

Crampton had 4 assists over his last 3 games.

Have there been any announcements mid season that haven't resulted in a player joining at semester? I can't imagine the Chiefs want to let him leave right now. And last week was signing day. Maybe it's just a recruiting announcement?

EDIT: I'm all sorts of messed up. He's not eligible until August 1st, 2025. This is just his NLI (or whatever they are using now) announcement.

This past weekend:
o Connor Levis (Vancouver Giants) went 4/2/6 in three games(!).
o Jake Sloan (Tri-City Americans) went 1/2/3 in four games.

The following recruits are currently performing at 1 PPG or better:
o Jake Sloan 1.07 PPG
o Camden Bajzer 1.07 PPG
o Connor Levis 1.03 PPG
o Noah Morneau 1.00 PPG

Ivan Korodiuk, a 6'4 defenseman for the USHL's Madison Capitols, has signed with BG and will join the team after the holiday break. Ukrainian national has 8 points (1 G, 7 A) in 19 games so far this season.

A bit surprising. I would've been more expecting someone like Rogovsky who's close to a point per game.

That gives us 10 defensemen. I would think Willy wouldn't onboard him halfway through the season if he didn't expect he'd play regularly.

Pasanen
Wozny
Parker
Norris
Stjernberg
Korodiuk/Blake/McKinley
Bevilacqua/O'Hanisain

Feels like we'll see some portal departures at the close of the season.

Is Bevilacqua injured? He should be a Top 4 D Man, but hasn't dressed for a game this season, not even an exhibition.

I will almost guarantee there will be portal activities taking place. Almost has to.
