But that said, I am really happy my son is on the JV team this year. He is getting a TON of ice time, is on the first line and is often double shifted (like he was all weekend with the short bench), is on the PK and PP, too. He and one of the goalies are the two seniors on the team and even though both kids are kind of on the quiet side, they provide invaluable leadership to that team. My son's playing ability should have him on the varsity this year, but if he were there, I am 100% certain he would be only getting one or two shifts a game. At least in his final year, he's having a great time, getting the most ice time he's ever had and enjoying playing the game immensely!! And that is all that matters to me!!!

My spouse and I had the pleasure of arriving the Kohl Center in the middle of the second period (that's not the pleasure part) of game one and finding the score BG 3 and Northeastern 0 (that's it). You know what happened after that. I was hoping Eno and the team would turn in a fine performance Saturday, but you know what happened there, too.
I don't know if it was the distance to the action (we sat in the 300's) or what, but the guys looked slow, seeming to stand around.
The arena is nice. Bucky managed to build a large one but avoided having it feel huge (unlike the Schott).
