"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Great win last night and hopefully we can pull off the sweep at home. Jimmy always seems to play well against Michigan and he def. played awesome last night. It's nice to finally beat a ranked team again, especially Michigan.

Is this going to win Coach Paluch at least a momentary reprieve from some of the headhunters on this board?

Great win last night fellas! Let's protect the home ice tonight!

No, probably not. GC fired Brandon the week after he beat Toledo. Why should one win against Michigan save Paluch?

No, we know it's not his ability to get us wins...the boys just played together and workd on each other. That and it was friday night so the S line still had some legs...wait till tonight....it won't be pretty...as much as the guys will play together, there's still only so far you can go playing 2 (lines) to 4...

Hell no. Getting this team pulling in the same direction under quality coaching would have this program a hell of a lot more than just 11 points in the CCHA. We sure as hell wouldn't have been swept by the suckeyes with one game being a blowout.

You're not kidding when you say it ain't gonna be pretty. The boys better have enjoyed last night. I'm guessing scUM will have about 24 minutes of powerplay tonight...and you'll hear the "BS" chant a minimum of 5 times. It's gonna be bad.

Not to go the whole "moral victory" route, but a weekend well done for the brown and orange. No one gave them a prayer of one point on the weekend, they got a split and outscored UM for the series. And Jimmy Spratt gets a huge "Bravo!" for his efforts! Great work!

When was the last time we beat those guys up at Yost? I remember taking my dad up there a few years ago, and we went up 3-0 in the first period, and looked to be dominating. As he and I were walking around at the first intermission, my dad stated that it looked like the game was in the bag. I remember looking at him strangely and telling him that it wasn't that easy to walk into Yost and beat the Fightin' Red's. Needless to say, we totally imploded and lost 8-5 or something crazy like that.

Man, I wish I could have been there tonight. I love seeing a game in that barn, and I would love to see a BG victory up there one of these days.
I was at that game you mentioned there. I think we ended up losing 8-4. The first period was incredible though..

This game is supposedly going to be nationally televised tomorrow. Way to showcase the CCHA with an absolute farce of a game. McInchak and Stafford made an absolute joke of the entire league with their performance tonight. Our boys should be proud of the way they played. Through everything they were in it until the last buzzer went. This team has come a long, long way.

I know some people are gonna come on here and say "we can't win if we don't stay out of the box." I know it's gonna happen. Before that's even said, ask yourself if you were at the game, or just looking at the scoresheet. Because the scoresheet tells an entirely different game than that what was played on the ice. I'm scared to think about what game McInchak and Stafford were watching in their puny little brains, because it sure wasn't what everyone else in the Ice Arena was watching tonight. Congratulations guys, you F-ed up what could quite possibly have been one of the best games played in the entire league all season long.

I was at a corporate function tonight and didn't get to listen. 1-0 loss to the Weasels. This team has a ton of heart. I saw it last Saturday against the nuts.

I love that.
