Today's events?? What events?
Yes, let's definitely get rid of the ONLY program at BG where we CAN win ANOTHER National Championship.
You're a troll and you need to go away.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second." ~~USCHO Poster "BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got." ~~USCHO Poster, AFTER Tech beat us #NeverGiveUp

#Relentless

transfer2BGSU- That might be an alright move I guess. At least the arena would see a little success!
Falcon Fanatic- BG got this thing called a new head football coach. The Falcons lost to Alabama Huntsville, lets not get ahead of ourselves with championship talk.

as others wanted to drop program altogether
still support from afar because a player told me they didn't need me to cheer them on or support them
listening and watching since 1973 tells me that BG Hockey is on the way back
if you want instant try freeze dry coffee, Ramen noodles, tea bags etc.
walk run sprint marathon
where was your resume in the mix?
I hope you realize said player is no longer with the program. And your "GO BG" is definitely missed in the Arena. I can even remember hearing it on the radio during away games when I was younger.

That's all you got? If you're going to try to fire up this argument, yet again, you're going to have to do a lot better than that.

Let's tear down the Ice Rink and make it into a bigger parking lot for the football program, or better yet --make into a larger indoor practice facility. Dino Babers is going to lead this team to the promise lands! After a conference championship now is the time to invest all of our resources into a potentially national ranked power.
With all of the talent that is returning on the football field this is a prime opportunity to put ourselves in the national spotlight. Lets be real, our hockey program -- as many of you have mentioned in your comments -- hasn't been relevant since the mid 80's. Our attendance at games is decent at best. The only thing that gets our fan base excited about the hockey program these days is dollar hot dog night.
As BGSU fans, lets stop doing what we want to do and start doing what we need to do! BGSU football is going to increase enrollment and be a competitive force for years to come!
Let's face it, Bleedorange is a troll and trying to rile people up. He has no interest in hockey and doesn't understand the game. I doubt he has even attended more than one or two games in his life. he just wants to stir the pot. Anyone who says he thinks the football team can be a national power is just trying to inflame the rest of us.
I wish we could just cut the football program already. I mean come on, a loss to Mississippi and then Toledo, that is unacceptable. Teams here at BG are not able to have bad games ever, because that just means we are awful. We should fill the football stadium with ice so our club broomball team and curling team can move there. At least they will be able to fill it up the arena.
