We need to figure something out offensively. Dop played 2 really strong games this weekend and he’ll take 2 losses because we can’t score more than once a game.
You have summed up the scoring history for the last decade, three goals win. Score less then that odd of losing increases exponentially. Not a new problem, goal scorers and offensive players don't come to the WCHA. Recruiting has to change in order for scoring problems to go away. Though I will say some of it is putting players in a successful system too.

Going to ruin my weekend, hate getting swept.

Well, I watched them play at QU and this weekend at BSU.....night and day the effort.

If it was my team there would be a couple of trash cans out on the ice Monday for practice....."you don't want to work during the game, we'll work now"

...probably why I don't coach any longer....

Can't disagree with you. The inconsistency the second half of the year drives me nuts, been happeningfor a while. We sweep Quinnipiac this year, its been Notre Dame sweep last year, or going 7-1 in non league. The second half we look pedestrian at times. Thinking we at the break through point only to welcome in a mediocre walk into the tournament. 3-3 last three weekends with two more big series right in front of us. How will we respond.......
Good thing I'm a Browns fan I'm really used to disappointment and having HOPE to hang on to

7 games in 14 days doesn't help much.

Could be that the team played an unbelievably soft 1st half schedule (not necessarily much they could do to change it) and now are having a little trouble against teams that can skate at the same level as them.

7 games in 14 days, injuries to Gould and Craggs didn't help either. Bemidji despite their somewhat poor start is better than their record and will probably end up in the top 3 of the league.

They're a good team and they know how to neutralize BG's speed game.
