Problems at Tech?

Mike McMahon reported yesterday that Swankler attempted to negotiate his suspension around the opening game of the season. He's from Pittsburgh and had family scheduled to attend the Robert Morris game. He offered up missing the home game vs. Robert Morris, and the first game against Augustana. The coaches said no. Then he went to the university about the allegations.

He's still enrolled at BG and will transfer to Tech after the semester is over.

And through it all, his dad is still saying the only thing stolen was a semester of his kid playing hockey. With that kind of influence, glad the coaches didn't negotiate with him. The mindset is baffling. He basically stole from Scooter. The guy that would have literally given him the shirt off his back if he asked, and not thought twice about it.

Sometimes it's best to just put your head down and accept what you got, before you get more.

Mark, come on! After you got terminated from your job a few years back for "violations of company policies, poor judgment, dishonesty, unprofessional and abusive behavior, and failures to meet the requirement of your position," do you really think you can defend Austen?
