Good crowd? We’re staying home with the bad roads
I think it will be. We're 20 minutes from puck drop and it's starting to fill in. Looks like a decent stream still coming through the doors.

End of 2, 0-1 bad guys. Shots are 41-11, BG.

Their goal was a scored on the carryover powerplay to start the period.

What a brutal game. We have completely dominated in every way, but we can’t score. Just awful. We are MUCH better than St. Thomas, and we played like this should’ve been a 6-point weekend. Man.

This loss is on me gang. Not only was I not in the Slate, I was at a birthday event for my wife which meant I couldn’t wear my lucky shirt. Apologies.

58 shots, 1 goal. Just goes to show we’re still going to be limited offensively until we get skilled guys in here. That’s our reality.

3 point weekend. Nice that Tech lost to Bemidji twice and Augustana lost twice as well. They play each other next weekend, too.

Off (exhibition) next weekend, then @ Bemidji and vs. LSSU. Finish strong, boys.

Attacking the two best goal scorers after the play and taking them off the ice for 2 minutes near the end of the third was a classic Rico move.

They've dropped so many points to teams they are clearly better then, especially at home. Would of been a great weekend to take 6 given what happened elsewhere, the top Would of been more crowded. College hockey is built on back to back nights and our Saturday nights have come into question. We've had a captain quote in the paper several years ago that it was hard to get up for games two nights in a row. That mentality is mediocrity at it's finest. Some coaches would have removed the C for those quotes. I hope that thought process isn't carried over from year to year.

I don’t think it’s the effort or mentality. We dominated the game last night, just got goalie’d. It happens when we don’t have a bunch of skilled offensive players. When your best offense is grinding things out, you leave things up to chance. That will improve over the course of Willy’s tenure. I’m not going to be mad about being in 3rd with 4 games left til the playoffs and a realistic shot at 1st (more likely 2nd) still on the table.

I watched the highlights, Sibell stood on his head; looked to me like we had a lot of grade A's. Sometimes the goalie just beats you.

I understand some of the frustration, but this is year 1 of a rebuild and if you compare this series with the series in Mendota Hts the improvement is striking. The fact Willy has Eigner's players sniffing the aroma of the MacNaughton and in great position for home ice shows the rebuild is ahead of schedule. That's all you can expect this year. I remind everyone that this team was picked to finish as low as 7th with zero prognosticators slotting us in a home ice spot. The fact that we're bemoaning what could have been (I do it too) is a heckuva lot more fun than knowing we got no shot.
