Or if your neighbor is a big ND fan and went against his own school and went to the game in all ND clothes. I myself hair sprayed half my brown hair orange just so that I stood out more than him. It felt good to rub it in.

A sweep is great, but it makes absolutely NO DIFFERENCE that it was against ND as opposed to our sweep of UAF 3 weeks ago! A sweep is a sweep! 4 points are 4 points!

Excellent Point! AND it will be JUST as important to sweep Ferris this weekend!!!! And here is why. Here are the current league standings:

10 WMU-11

Notice the log jam at 6th place, the final HOME ICE spot!! Next weekend's games are: OSU@LSSU, MU@WMU, MSU@UM, UNO@ND, UAF@ NMU and BG@FSU. If we would get swept by Ferris (God forbid!!), any of those 6th place teams could easily jump ahead of us if they should sweep their weekend games. I don't see this happening, because frankly, this team is working hard and knows what is at stake. Each game is for home ice in the playoffs and the Falcons are playing for as high of a position as possible!!

Man, a sweep of Ferris State would be huge...especially with the Suckeyes around the corner. We still have WMU, Michigan and Michigan State.
