Canada- Lots of Beer
Russia- the Birthplace of Vodka
Finland- Finlandia...need I say more
Sweden- Absolut
Czech Rep.- ABSYNTH...the crazy green stuff

I have no issues with tippin back a few.....hey we all do....and we still show up for the game, and are better fans then!!!
What about Germany though? I mean they are beer and yet they only have a bronze medal in 1932 in ice hockey. I see this being a problem in this otherwise intriguing theory. I may just have to drink a beer while contemplating what this means to your theory.
Perhaps it's the theory itself that's wrong....maybe it's not that alcohol breeds good hockey, but that hockey breeds good alcohol.

That doesn't work either though. Germans make some of the best beers and Jager.

There is a definite problem with Germany....they ruin the whole theory!! You know what else just came to mind....why is that the southern hemisphere is not known for their alcohol......

Oh yeah....cause they got screwed over many times by those hockey playing alcohols!!! Even though they took the idea of alcohol with them, they also took all the money that the people had to buy it.....and guess what....NO HOCKEY!!

I would love to see the Brizilian hockey team though.....those cheerleaders....oh dear!!!

All I can say is that every theory has counterexamples and all I can do is grab a bottle of Finlandia and drink my dissapointment away....then go play hockey!

Just so you all know....the river is now frozen....which means HOCKEY time!!
