Rather than taking it out on one another,
how about pitch forks and torches.
start at Steve Kampf's home, them to Ed Whipple and on to Dr. Carol.

Is this problem really bad enough that we have to resort to armed insurrection?

Hockey on way out?

Post by hutchirish »

So what is everyone hearing about the elimination of hockey? I am hearing it in Indianapolis and am HOPING that it is just rumor. But not giving the rink the $4M it needs for renovations is not a good sign. Didn't this president also eliminate hockey at Kent State a nubmer of years ago as well?

Yes, but VERY different circumstances.

Listen people, let me say this once and for all:

If BG were to get rid of hockey, we may as well close Brauthaus and burn University Hall to the ground.

In other words, we're not getting rid of hockey. Can we be done with this now?

Please?

This thoughtful insight got me to wondering if there might be some connection between our team's performance and the US Presidency.
I did some research, and came up with the following. Here are our records during the terms of all US Presidents since 1969.

Gerald Ford 59-25-4 .693
Ronald Reagan 222-108-13 .656
Jimmy Carter 105-54-5 .655
Richard Nixon 88-72-8 .548
Bill Clinton 144-142-22 .503
George HW Bush 70-80-12 .469
George W Bush 98-177-30 .370
Barack Obama 1-5-0 .167

Democrats 250-201-27 .551
Republicans 537-462-67 .535

Conclusion...Obama is a total bust and needs to be impeached immediately. Since Ford and Reagan are both dead, neither are likely to be of much help. I see no more viable option than to mount an immediate coup, abolish the constitution and proclaim Jimmy Carter President-for-life.
