If Willy is not named the HC today or tomorrow then BG is going a seperate direction. I don't think Christopher would name a new coach before the hockey banquet if Willy is not coming back. It would be awkward to name a new coach today or tomorrow and then hold the hockey banquet. If Willy is not named the coach by the end of the hockey banquet then I believe BG will hire Wilson.

If Will's staying, it will be announced at the banquet.

You can argue that they would name a new coach before the banquet and then "introduce" this person at the banquet.
