Willy is supposed to have a 7:30AM Tuesday phone call with The Morning Show BG on 88.1 WBGU every week.

Did Willy do a press conference this week or was the morning interview it?

It appears he did not have a presser this week, and I would imagine that is because we have exhibitions (not games) against 2 different opponents this week, on weird non-traditional game days.

The league is working on producing more content this year. There's usually a late night show recapping the evenings action as well as a weekly CCHA Show in addition to the podcasts. So far all this stuff is on the CCHA YouTube channel. I've listened to almost all of it and would break down the discussions thusly:

90% Augustana, Mankato, Bemidji, Tech, Tommies
9% Northern, Lakers, Ferris
1% BG

There has been zero discussion of our team, our coach, or our players. The league guys didn't appear to even bother paying the monthly Flo fee to watch our games with Mercyhurst. "Oh, BTW, BG is playing Western Michigan and RIT this week -- now here's 5 minutes on Ferris' upcoming trip to St. Lawrence."

I think the only way we're going to get any focus from this league is to win.

With Grand Forks and Tech guys being half the panel, it's easy to see why. Highly doubt any other school will be asked for a representative. Unless, of course, someone are to call them out on their obvious slant to the west. Won't be me this time. I don't have the attention span to listen to them talk about games of zero interest to me for an hour.

In news that means absolutely nothing, Bobby Mo took down MiAudi 5-1 last night. Take from that what you will.

USCHO poll is out. Bowling Green is in the RV column with 1 vote.

Here's how the rest of the CCHA stacks up:
18 - Mankato (158)
RV - Augustana (51)
RV - Michigan Tech (18)
RV - St. Thomas (3)
RV - Bemidji State (2)
RV - Bowling Green (1)

Survey results are in. We hate Miami State while Miami State hates us. Not thrilled the guy used everyone's retro logo as it's tough to figure out who's who.

I'd call Miami, Tech, and Ohio State our biggest "rivals" but I'm thinking OSU and Tech don't think that way about us.

OSU fans would never admit BG exists. Tech hates us, they just hate Northern more.

When none of your league opponents consider you a rival, it's quite depressing. I wish BG could move on.
