I was thinking the same thing. Maybe in 3 to 4 years we can look back on this weekend and realize this was the series that turned us around.

I have to say, short of the overtime win, in the first round of the tournament (goal by Cepis) my sophomore year (2008) in that tiebreaker game, this was the most fun weekend of hockey I think I've ever seen.

So glad I was able to make it to both games this weekend!

If you have a DVR you may want to record SportsCenter tomorrow morning. John Buccigross said on Twitter he's going to give the team a shout out when he's on tomorrow.

saw that and got the DVR set, Bucci seems to give the shout outs during the top ten plays so that may be the place to look if you are trying to catch it, he does the noon to 3pm SportCenters for those who don't know

So, did he mention BG? I DVR'd it, but honestly, can't sit through 3 hours of that stuff, and no idea why I bothered to DVR it!

About 2 seconds going into Top Plays at around 2:55 p.m. Also mentioned Miami(OH) hockey, for whatever they may have done.

A very close paraphrase... "Good job Bowling Green men's hockey and Miami hockey, now this weekend's top plays..."

But you're right, the rest of the 3 hours was impossible to stomach.

Update on THE Zero $tate 50/50 seller: I wrote my letter to GC, Dr. Mazey, Falcon Club and the head of the BGYHA. Boy, did I ruffle some feathers in the flock!!! Got GREAT (and appropriately expected) feedback on the topic! I seriously doubt if that will EVER happen again!! Honestly hope others wrote in too!!
