Just a couple notes as I watched the game tonight:
- I wish BG would get a TV set up like Ferris has. It's not NBC but for a small team they have good production values (minus the whiny commentators).
- What else can we say about Hammy? Last year he solidified his place as the #1 and this year he's proving it. He was only two shots short of Jordan Sigalet's record for saves in a game.
- Even though he was left off the scoresheet I thought Berkle was a big part of our success. He's a big, power forward and managed to get 10 shots on net.
- When you think about what BG is trying to do I think Ferris is a great example. They play a hard-nosed style and use their defense to help create offense. I think that's what Berg is trying to do with us.
- 0/4 on the power play. That can't continue.

Safe travels to all those making the trip tomorrow. Be loud and proud because I'm sure their rink is going to be rowdy.

I agree....Berkle is becoming a force on the team. He will be great by the time he leaves here!

That's a huge win for the Falcons, not only for this season, but big wins against top teams helps confidence going into next season. More big wins against top programs in the future means getting more looks by higher caliber recruits and continuing to rebuild the program.

I couldn't watch or listen to last night's game (definitely tuning in tonight) but watched the highlights earlier today. I wasn't sure since the highlights are from Ferris State's TV, did FSU really have that many chances in OT compared to BG?
