We overachieved in the first half and didn't win enough in the second half unfortunately. Maybe the stars will align, but the WCHA isn't a three bid league and probably doesnt deserve 2 teams unless Tech can pull an upset tomorrow.

23 games in 12 weeks. The "SOS" may show favorable, but no other team had to do that. SOS only concerns who you play, not when, travel, bye weeks. Straight up the final record of your opponents. It's far from perfect and most teams would struggle with the second half schedule they had.

Whether or not they play another game this season, they improved from last season.

There's only a VERY small window that allows us back in:

Michigan Tech needs to beat Minnesota State for WCHA title.
Boston U needs to beat Mass-Lowell for HEA title.
Harvard needs to beat Colgate for ECAC title,
Minnesota needs to beat Michigan for B1G title.
Mercyhurst needs to beat RIT for AHA title.
Miami needs to beat St Cloud for NCHC tite.
Doesn't matter who wins the NCHC consolation game (Denver or NoDak).

That home loss to Lake Superior is the nail that closed our coffin.

BG can also get in with a Miami loss if Denver beats NoDak (along with all of your other scenarios). Prepare for the worst, and be ecstatic if things fall BG's way.

Then go play the lottery.

Was looking forward to going to South Bend next weekend, but if we do get in we're going to shipped off somewhere because Minnesota State is going to be the #1 seed and we for sure would be a #4 seed and that's an inter-conference matchup and we would move somewhere.

Regardless of what happens today, we won't be playing South Bend. They'll send MSU or MTU to South Bend as a one seed, and we'd be a 4 seed, and we can't play a conference opponent in the first round.

Denver us up 3-1. That helps a little because if Denver holds on and an RIT win would allow Miami to slip up. Still going to come down to Minnesota beating Michigan and Tech beating Minnesota State

Denver wins. So if RIT wins the Miami - St Cloud game is meaningless. An RIT loss and Miami must win (along with Minnesota, Tech, BU and Harvard)

Tech is winning. Boston is winning. RIT is winning. Harvard is tied. So far so good. Need Harvard to get a lead

RIT and Boston each go up by 2 goals. Tech still winning. If RIT wins the Miami game is meaningless. Need the Weasels to lose

Denver won today. Couple that with an RIT win the Miami game is meaningless.
