Point taken, but it is a skill he is unlikely to need. The website doesn't rate his ability to dance a jig, even though he could conceivably need that skill at some point in the futureBGFan wrote:Not true....I saw Gary Kruzich score an open net goal way back when. For the record, I once scored with the Maple Leafs' goalie in NHL Breakaway 96-97 for Nintendo 64. That was a situation where I needed to dance a jig

Not to take away from your post, Freddie, but many people saw that many times! Outside of being an All American goalie, that was his forte!Freddie wrote:That's nothing. The goal, however, only happened once and has yet to be repeated in the ice arena...
Another Falcon to the nest

Here's a little bit more on him. http://www.nahl.com/news/story.cfm?id=922Spectator wrote:Welcome Reed Rushing, defenseman from the Marquette Rangers of the NAHL. I'm guessing that since we now have two 19 year olds and two 21 year olds coming in on defense next year that Mike Miller will be delaying his schooling for a year and get a full year of juniors in before coming to BG?
As much as I like the guys on our team I don't see any of them getting AHL contracts to leave early. Very few of them have the combination of size AND talent needed to play at that level. Giving up an education for the ECHL just doesn't make sense.
Sexton needs to bulk up before turning pro and at least one more season of production like this last one will only help in contract negotiations. Kantola seems the most likely to make the jump from college to the AHL but if I were a GM I'd want to see another year of improvement and some consistency before I signed him (8 goals before christmas, 4 goals after).

Eligibility question
I saw this online in an article about a FSU football player:
The rule is No. 14.2.3.5 in the NCAA Division I Manual. It is titled, "Participation After 21st Birthday," and it mandates the following: If an individual participates in an organized sport after his 21st birthday, but before enrolling in college, that participation "shall count as one year of varsity competition in that sport."
Is this going to cost Hammond and Rushing a year of eligibility since they both turned 21 this past February?
