That really puts a lot into perspective. The highest I was able to get us is 7, after a lot of experimenting with highly unlikely scenarios. We can win out the season (sweep ND and Miami) and still end up in 10 place. We need 7 (out of 8 possible) points to guarantee we don't finish last. Most likely finish is probably 11th

There's nobody to blame but.....

The most frustrating thing about this whole business is trying to figure out how this team can play lights out against the like of UM and OSU, but crash and burn against so call "lesser" opponents. How can you not approach each game as if it's the most important game of the season? Mind boggling, to say the least.

Buddy Powers?

As for your other paragraph, it's not even the beating OSU/UM and then losing to the lesser teams, but the way in which we've done it, sloppy defense and never really being in the game late. Though I think if you look at all the losses, being on the road has to have something to do with it, too... :?

I have my opinions and I've alluded to them in other posts, but I'll wait until after the season is over to express them fully. I don't know if they're right or wrong, but they're based on what I know and what I knew before the season started. Let's just say that I'm not entirely surprised at how this season has progressed, but I was hoping for something different.

I expected us to have some ups and downs, but my god, i did not picture us ending the regular season in last-next to last place. this team is realy better than that...guess we never quite figured out where the band-aid needed to go...or worse we ran out.
We can still have a good finish, and that is all that matters now.

Several lab experiments have gone on to show that for lower organisms the brain stem is sufficient for survival for some time.

I hunt quail, Jeremy! They're overpopulated in this region and they're decimating the grubworm population!
