Bah, now I can't remember which of our members was going to this game, but they saw a good one! Jordan stopped all five skaters in the shootout, and Providence beat Hershey today!

Wasn't me you were thinking of, but my wife and I were there. Great win for Jordan. There was some great PK work by Providence in the the third when Johnathan went to the box, then a major for high-sticking before he got out.
After the game Jordan gave his stick to a couple with BG jerseys on and we got to meet them afterwards to tell them how lucky they were!!
Didn't realize it until too late, but we ended up staying in the same hotel with Providence...grr...

Hey everybody! Just got home...8 hour drive. Wow!! What a game! Jordan and Jonathan played excellent in Hershey. Didn't start well, Hershey up 2-0, but Providence battled back. Including killing off a 5 minute power play. Met some wonderful folks from Williamsburg, Virginia who came to watch the boys play and also some folks from Philly. I think her name was Victoria and her son Vincent (at least I hope it was her son)

Apparently last summer, Jordan and Jon Horrell stayed at their house while either working or attending a goalie camp. Also, a couple of young ladies from BG who made the trip. Anyway, yes, I was the one who Jordan gave his stick to. It was one of those cherished moments that you'll never forget. After Jordans teammates congratulated him on the win, they were starting to leave the ice. Jordan turned around, skated right over to my wife and I (we were sitting in the first row) and he handed his stick over the glass to me. A wonderful moment from an absolutely great young man. Heck, I was thrilled that before the game began, he skated over to the glass and tapped it with his stick, letting us know that he knew we were there. After the game, we went around to the back of the arena, and had a chance to spend a few minutes with he and Jonathan. Jordan, as always, was an absolute gentleman. He posed for a picture with my wife and I, and we talked about various things. He said he watched the Saturday BG game on the internet and was sorry things didn't go well in Omaha. Jonathan came out a couple of minutes later and we chatted with him too. Jordan signed the stick for me and hugged my wife. He and Jonathan really appreciated the folks who made the trip to see them play. They were heading back by bus to Providence and probably weren't going to get home until 4 or 5 in the morning. It was a great weekend, the Giant Center in Hershey is an awesome arena. Very clean, the people are very friendly and Hershey is a wonderful town. We took alot of pictures, hopefully they'll turn out. I might try and post some on the website when we get them back. Too bad the Falcons couldn't do it out in Omaha. I found a computer in the hotel and went on the CCHA page to get the results. Oh well, there's always next year.
GO FALCONS!!!!!!!
