What was everyone's favorite memory from the past season?
For me it was the win over Meechagin in a packed barn. I get chills just thinking of how great that night was.

I have to agree with you!! That night was SOOO freakin' awesome, especially after getting drilled up at Yost the night before, which was just butt-ugly!!!!
I can't wait for next year to start!! People won't believe it, but we will do well!! I know it!!!!

Oh the many memories I have watchng this team from this season, from the tie @ Ohio State, my first time ever @ Yost, then the night later against UM, and I saw the great game to end the regular season @ Goggin. But, my greatest memory was in a losing cause, when I drove 10 hours to Omaha for the playoffs. It was a great game and the UNO fans made the trip well worth it in my quest to see all CCHA arenas. Then I drove 10 hours back right after the game, with my friend though. Ready for next season.

Since I missed the Michigan game....
I would say the 2-0 shutout of the Buck$ was my fave memory. Great crowd at the IA and seeing those OSU fans just sitting there knowing they were gonna lose for the 2nd straight night was priceless.

I'm with Freak - didn't see the Michigoon game, though that is my greatest memory from the internet feed this year!
I actually have two:
1.) The sweep of Ohio State. I wasn't able to make it to VCA for the Friday game like I had hoped, but I listened to it with a couple of friends on the radio in BG. When we won that game, I tackled one of them in a recliner. It only got better the next night. With a 1-0 score, it was a nail-biter throughout, and without a doubt the most exciting finish to a game I have ever seen. Totally friggin' awesome.
2.) Winning the UConn Tourney. I was lucky enough to be able to make it to this tournament (my first holiday tournament, too), and boy did I see two good games! A close one against UMass and a blowout against UConn on their own ice was awesome. It was made even better by the 65 year old man who kept yelling "Happy Halloween!" and then began yelling at me in the third period for cheering for my team. What a cool experience that was!

I would have to say the Michigan game for sure. That was the most packed I have ever seen Ice Arena. I got to the rink a little bit before 6:30 and the student section was already packed. I was able to get a seat that I never really sat down in about half way up the section. And for people who came right around faceoff, they had real trouble finding anywhere to sit, I saw some just sitting in the aisles. Getting that first goal, the place erupted and was non stop noise the whole game. Michigan fans were scattered throughout the building but they didnt have much to cheer for and many made an early exit. The wolverines were ranked 6th in the nation at the time and it was huge win for the program. It was a night when all the BG fans were really into the game and gave it a real big game atmosphere. Me and my buddies I went to the game with partied it up afterwards to celebrate and was one of the great memories of spring semester. Hopefully we will have many more like it next season!
