Jacob Cepis

Looks like Cepis was asked to play one more year in Juniors. He's now listed as an '07 recruit. Probably a smart move as it'll give him more time to adjust to the faster game and to bulk up a little bit.

I asked Ron about Cepis, his e-mail message was
"He is coming this season."

Last I heard they were still deciding, but as of now, I think he is still scheduled to come. Personally I think that, given his size, age, and the number of incoming freshman, another year in Cedar Rapids wouldn't hurt him at all.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Totally agreed. What's sad is most of these kids were born when I was at BG. There was even one stupid girl on my hall freshman year that got knocked up, and what's scary is her kid is old enough to be at BG now. At least I am not the only one feeling my age.
