In the 2006 IIHF Championship Report the values of the 2005, 2004 and 2003 IIHF tournaments are already reduced by 25% compared the 2005 final ranking. In addition to this the residual value of the 2002 Olympic Games has been removed and replaced with the points for the 2006 Olympic Games at 100%.
