I think we'll be a mid-level CCHA team with the chance to make a good playoff run. But, it all depends on how the Seniors take the reins this year. Last year's seniors seemed to be very "Meh" when it came to being a leader. As far as captains, I say Dobek or Unger.
Spratt will be much improved and may win us some games this year with his tending alone.
I'd say this year has the possibility to have some great moments.
Just a point on the captain-thing, Brian Dobek isn't at BG anymore. He graduated early. When I talked to him at the banquet, he said he was heading to Atlanta to work with the Thrashers organization.
i think that this could be a very succesful year in falcon hockey, we have a lot of young talent that could help us out. Look for unger, meloche, and moto to have big years as well as bronson and others. I think spratt should be stellar. he looked like he was finally getting teh idea at the of last year. It will and interesting but exciting year in falcon hockey.
I would think that we may rise up near 6th place early in the year and also see a weekend or two in the cellar in the second half, but probably finish up in 9th or 10th if the goaltending can be more consistent than last year.
