Greetings from Florida

Post by rc_ziggy84 »

Hey gang,
I know I've been out of touch, a lot, lately! I'm down in Orlando, FL on an internship and loving every minute of it. I am totally getting pumped up for this season. I think we're going to see some big things out of this team! Pooch has got us on the right track, and I think this is definitely the year to turn the tide. Can't wait to see you all back at the Ice Arena!

Glad you are enjoying your internship in Florida! What are you doing for your internship?

We have been a little out of touch too! I am currently posting from Asheville, NC. We are on a two week camping trip that started with Gettysburg, continued down the Skyline Drive, and are currently on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We will end in the Smokey Mountains and Gatlinburg, then home to BG next Sunday!!

Regarding the upcoming season, I expect it to be fantastic (...*orange glasses firmly in place*...) and a LOT of fun!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Yeah, it's really incredible!!

Truth is, my tent-camping days ended a LONG time ago!! We're in a camper at a KOA (overpriced, but has a pool that keeps the kids happy!) with free Wi-Fi!! \:D/ Next stop, Smoky Mountains!!
