Sellout Probability?

Post by Columbus Falcon »

Hi folks! :P

I haven't been on here for a while so I thought I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a 98 grad currently living in Columbus. Things are going alright for me.

I was curious if you guys/gals think the Hockey game fri night will be a sellout or not? Was planning on hopefully catching the hockey game Fri night and the football game on Sat.

Curious,

Welcome! I doubt Saturday will be a sellout...but I think the crowd will be the same size as an average regular season game, which is pretty good for a preseason match.

I think the events scheduled for Friday night should be fun, with the homecoming pep rally and hockey game. Fireworks at 9 p.m. on the Alumni Mall between Harshman and Kreischer.

Last year really sold me on Falcon hockey -- I'm slowly becoming a little more than a casual fan. See you there on Friday!

Given that it's an exhibition game I doubt if you'll have trouble getting a ticket at the door. I'm expecting a bigger crowd than normal for an exhibition since it's homecoming weekend, and the hype surrounding the expectations of the team this year, but you should still have no problems getting a ticket.

They are doing fireworks at 9 PM??? The hockey game won't even be done by then!!!

And in response to Columbus Falcon's Sell-Out Question....here's a question of my own: Won't that be AWESOME when people DO have to worry about being able to get tickets for an exhibition game???? 8) :partyman:
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Comparison

The Weasels scored 12 on Windsor in their exhibition game, so hopefully, we will do as well!! Final score on that game was 12-1. I predict BG 13-Windsor-0!!! We MUST do better than the Weasels, right????
