Home Opener Attendance

Can anyone give me some insight on how big crowds have been in the past for the Hockey Opener? It lies on homecoming weekend, so i dont know if that will play a role. Hopefully we have a jammed Ice Arena for friday!!!!

I would expect a pretty strong student attendance based off the exhibition. However, I'm not sure about Friday night. I'm guessing 2k at the most.

2k, thats it? It looked like we had more than 2k at the exhibition. 2k is only 40% full. I would be disappointed if it was only 40% full....i guess it could happen tho....

If this was a Saturday night game attendance would probably double. But for people who work until 5 on Friday's, it might be cutting it close for some.

This is one of those times where I hope I'm wrong.

None of the FMB can make it because the prism concert AND the homecoming pep rally are both on Friday night, that takes about 25 students out of the equation. I was extremely irritated when I figured all this out this morning because I was really looking forward to this game, luckily for us there's another game on Sunday.

There is one other problem w/Friday night. It's a home football game for BGHS. We'll be there up until after the half time show because our son is in the band and it's band parents night, after which we'll be heading over to the ice arena.

My guess is that it will be closer to 3000 in attendance.
