Will Connecticut be the proverbial "patsy"?

Post by FalconBlue »

"The Orange and Brown lead the all-time series with Connecticut 1-0-0 after a 9-2 win over the Huskies last season in the championship game of the Toyota UConn Holiday Classic in Storrs".
So far this season Connecticut are (0-0-1)

"STORRS, Conn. (October 8, 2006) — Despite owning a 37-23 shot advantage for the game, the University of Connecticut men’s hockey team played to a 2-2 draw with Ottawa in an exhibition game Sunday afternoon at the Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum."

Alabama-Huntsville may be a different story but based on their record this season, this weekend should be "easy pickings" (0-2-0). 2005-06 Record: 19-13-2, 12-7-1 CHA.

Oct. 7
#15 Colo. College, 8, UAH 1
Oct. 8
Air Force 4, UAH 3

These Non-Conference games look like easy wins.

If you're ridin' ahead of the herd, take a look back now and then to make sure it's still there.

This weekend should be a good early judge on this season's success. UAH should be a decent opponent for us, with UCONN being a better team than what we faced last year.

Uconn should be beat by 4 goals. UAB has been down the last year or so as well. The first step at getting out of the cellar and bringing the program back to respectability is do beat weak non conference opponents at home. If you cant do that consistenly you are equivalent to an Indiana or Illinois in football.
