Tickets for Miami?

Is anyone else planning on going down to Miami later this month? I inquired about tickets at MHT.com and they told me to look into getting tickets through our office - I've never had to buy road tickets in advance, so I really didn't know if we did get tickets from opponents.
Does anyone know how many tickets we might have and when they might be available? I would really like to check out that new barn of theirs.

Yep, you can get tickets from the BG ticket office for road games. I did it a few, well 15 years ago for a BG-OSU game and a BG-Michigan game. They usually have tickets until a couple of days before the game. So don't wait until the last minute. Plus, depending on when the game in Oxford is (in school or on break), you might be able to get them down there.

I am going to call the Miami ticket office tomorrow.... if I can't get them there, I am using my resources to get some comps thru Miami. Somebody owes me a favor.... plus we will already be in town for the Miami - Ball State game that afternoon.
Bleeding - if you are going - let me know.

I sure will. I'm going to try and call the ticket office this week, but I'm not sure if they would have them this early.

I have not talked to the ticket office directly for Hockey this year, but from what I understand, the Goggin is sold-out but they have held some tickets out for each date as not to shut people out. However - if you read the box scores they were 1,000 shy of a sell-out for each game this past weekend.
I have a professional/personal relationship with someone who's brother-in-law is involved with the miami hockey program ...... He owes me a few favors and he knows how much I love hockey. He has told me he can help me with tickets.... so I am going to try to get 4-6 tickets. Either thru the Ticket Office or my friend.
We'll see what we can do either way. And we can met up for the game. Nicholas and I are going. Mrs. Tech and Sam don't want to go.... Mrs. Tech has a real problem seeing BG play in hostile environments.

Sam is 15 and hangin out with Dad is not cool. I am assuming my buddy and his son (Nicholas's best friend) will want to go.

I heard that BG ticket office is getting 30 tickets.
Miami won't sell any tickets they may have until Tuesday, Oct 24.
I too am rather nervous about getting tickets for the games in Oxford. I've seen every BG-Miami game for the past 20 years.

I just talked to the Miami Ticket Office. Here's how they are working hockey tickets.
You have to check their website
http://muredhawks.cstv.com/ on Monday mornings prior to that week's home games. There will be a press release telling you how to order tickets..... which will be available on Tuesday. They have set aside a small number of seats so that everyone gets an opportunity to see a game at the new Goggin.
The lower numbers this past weekend were due to students being on Fall break.
I also talked to the BG ticket office this morning. They don't know the number of tickets Miami is going to send them, so presently, they are developing a list and tickets will go in order of first called-first served.

Redskin - I hope you have your tickets..... I know from reading your posts you get to a lot of the games.
The Miami Alum and hockey fan in me gets pissed about all of the bandwagon fans and Alumni who just want to say they went to the new Goggin but couldn't tell the difference between a power play and a box of popcorn.
I should have just bought season tickets........ instead I have season tickets for football.
Just to be clear...... I cheer for Miami whenever they aren't playing BG..... particularly hockey.
