I pound on the glass every game. There have been nights that I have left with a numb hand from hitting the glass so hard. I have never had a problem.Peregrinner wrote: (But whatever you do, do NOT pound on the glass.)
I believe what Terry's saying here is that he had an issue with an officer of the law threatening the students that they were not allowed to pound on the glass. While I don't agree with the officers actions, it is part of the "Zero-Tolerance" policy which the Ice Arena has started enforcing.pdt1081 wrote:I pound on the glass every game. They yelled at us for pounding on the glass all the time when I was in school. Nothing new here. Maybe it's just the same cop that has a problem with it.BGDrew wrote:I believe what Terry's saying here is that he had an issue with an officer of the law threatening the students that they were not allowed to pound on the glass. Believe me, I still have parts of my thumb that have no feeling from pounding on the glass so much. Drew is correct in stating that my sarcastic comment was based on my nearly being thrown out for doing such a thing. I intend to ask one of the officers at the game Friday what exactly is and isn't considered a punishable offense. I love the games and I love to get loud and encourage the team, I just don't want to get thrown out for it!pdt1081 wrote:I pound on the glass every game.
