Rumor is we'll be playing in the Ohio Hockey Classic at Nationwide Arena in Columbus Dec 29 & 30.
I say rumor because Nationwide isn't listing the tournament on their event schedule, and Ticketmaster isn't either.
Must be a great event.

The Friday, Dec. 29 5:05 match up with Miami will be the only Falcon hockey game I make this season.

I'm planning on heading down that afternoon with my dad. How is everyone planning on getting tickets for this event?

I'm guessing you can walk up and pick any section you want.

The whole section.

I predict 2,173 attendance.

CBJ ticket holders had until Thursday at 5 to by tickets ahead of everyone else. I would imagine that tickets will go on sale in the next couple of days, if they haven't already.

You can't beat the price or the venue. They usually draw around 5,000-6,000 which doesn't seem like much in an 18,000 seat venue, but the competition is good and the place is still loud. The Blue Jackets game ops staff puts on a show much like they do with Blue Jackets and Destroyers games. In other words, it is very professional and fun to see. Much like the BG-Wisconsin game at CB Stadium.

With Ticketmaster's "convenience" charge and facility charge the cost is $12.45/ticket. Still not too bad though.

Turns out, we may only be there for the Saturday games too. Our son has a hockey tourney in BG that overlaps the first day of the Falcon's tourney. Depending on what time the Falcons and Bobcats play, will determine whether we make it down for the Falcon game on Friday.
