Okay, Nebraska who is 4-7-4 and 10th in the CCHA is visting this weekend as all you know. What else to say except this team better be playing with desperation and better come out with a pair of wins this weekend for some hope to start turning it around because it doesn't get any easier.

Who should I look for vs. UNO

Obviously, it's been a rough year, but surely someone is out there working hard and making an impression.

I'm considering coming up for this one, so let me ask the tough question. Who should I look for? Where is the bright spot?

Derek Whitmore is having a career year.

I haven't seen his goals this year, but he sure seems to have the "Hockey Gods" on his side judging by the goals he scored in past years.

You really should keep an eye on Scoot, and look for his "Diamond Cutter" off of the top ropes. If you witness this, it will make any length of a drive, win or lose, well worth it!

I remember Scooter

It goes without saying that you always lookout for Scooter. I meant in terms of the players.

No BGDrew. I get the joke. I know who Scooter is. It just wasn't that good a joke to begin with.

Forget it. I'm not making it anyway.

I don't even know who Scooter is, so I'm double lost.

Unless something has changed ...

Scooter is none other than Scott Jess, equipment man extrodinaire. Come to think of it, he's the only guy left in that room from when I was there back in the mid to late 90's. I do recall vaguely his fondness for pro wrestling, hence the diamond cutter reference by ShaneFalco.

Actually now that the wheels are turning, Scooter has been the one constant in our decade-plus of misery. ... Just kidding. Scooter is a good guy and from what I understand very good at his job.
