I figured that at the end of the first period.

You slow. :P

More questions without answers. Being blown out by the horny cows is COMPLETELY unacceptable, however.

It sucked.

Shall I assume you were at the game then? Because if you take away an absolutely on-fire Bryan Marshall, that's a 1-1 tie. The team played one of the more physical styles I've seen all season. I've seen a DEFINITE improvement from the last time we've played, and I think tomorrow will be a different story.

We have a lot of guys banged up right now and the team is still playing hard. If you were there, you would have seen how many checks got finished. Once this team starts burying the puck into the net, you'll see wins.

The story of a game is not always told on a scoreboard.

I was working on a finance project so I was half watching game-tracker.

Outshot again (35-25)

Destroyd on the scoreboard again.

It sucked.

I hope you're right about tomorrow night.

BGDrew, well it sounds like you have been the new addition of the long line of people brainwashed by Scott Paluch. Honestly, Who cares if we out hit them. Who Cares!!! Yes I agree that hitting is a crucial part of hockey but when we've scored 1 goal in the last 3 games I would say we have bigger problems. Again let me say once more WHO CARES. We lost 4-1 and you want people to be happy because we out hit them.
Sounds almost like it came directly out of Pooch's mouth.

You want to pass judgment on this team? Show up and watch them. If you're going off numbers and a stat line then you really don't have an idea about the game.

I realize you've worn the jersey bigdog, but as much as it probably pisses you off this team hasn't quit yet.

someone actually thinks we out hit tonight. Get real. We had several players get laid out by smaller players. We did get more aggressive in the 3 rd period, but that was on the penalty kill,

Sorry, I misread you finishing the checks comment. Anyhow, if this program is going to improve, it must be with a new coach.

BGDrew, seriously the only thing that pisses me off about this team is that they have so much talent and yet they loose every freaking game. Were not talking about losing games, we are getting blown out. I would love to go to games but unfortunately I am now thousands of miles away. You can go home and feel happy becuase the team got some moral victories becuase they finally hit people, not me, you are missing the fact that we lost 4-1.
Don't you think it is a little late in the year to be congratulating the team becuase they hit people, isn't that expected?

Anyone still positive about BG Hockey must at home Tivo - ing the game so everyone else can watch. What was attendance tonight --250 ? No attendance, no confidence in the program, players have no direction or leadership.

Athletic programs not making any money -- Is the AD going to wait until it is his job on the line? Fire Pooch!! NOW

Well lets review:

Notre Dame L 5-2
Notre Dame L 4-0
Ohio State L 9-3 - Nine freakin goals
Ohio State L 4-1
Clarkson L 5-0
St. Lawrence L 4-0
and now
UNO L 4-1

This is getting rediculous. I don't know what's going on. I'm not in that room, but something's got to change. We've lost 11 of the last 12 games. Two is a coincidence. Three is a trend and four is a rut. What the **** is seven?

Let's see, our goal was reviewed. The ref was between me and the net and I could see that it was clearly in. He waived it off at first. On the play, Kantola got drilled from behind, no call. Earlier, Svendsen gets drilled from behind in front of the net, no call. Sinkewich gets called for checking from behind when he turned sideways and hit the boards himself to avoid hitting the guy from behind, because the other guy had turned his back to him and skated into him. Nesdill gets called for kneeing with a clean, shoulder to shoulder hit in open ice. Bronson gets called for cross checking for crashing the net, with his stick on the ice, and only one hand on it. Matso gets a 10 minute misconduct because he finally turns around and retaliates at the end of the game because he is still being constantly hooked and held, even when he is nowhere near the puck.

Don't even try to put tonight's loss solely on the team or coach. Paluch tried standing up for his players and ended up with a bench minor. The UNO coach basically told the ref to "F" off on his way off the ice at the end of the second period, right on the ice in front of the students. UNO's first goal was scored right after they emptied their bench onto the ice. There were more guys on the ice than on there bench. No linesman or the referree made the call, I guess they couldn't get their skate off fast enough to count :?
