"I HAD FOUR choices of schools to go to, and BG was the last one that I visited. I went to one Bowling Green game and it was a sellout against Ohio State. As soon as I sat through that game I looked at my dad and said, this is where I want to be."
I never get tired of hearing that. I know it was the case for me, and it seems to be the case for a lot of people. When you come here, you can just feel that it's the right place.

Overall, though, that article was pretty cool for me, considering I wasn't around(/alive) for it. I love reading about those years.

I love this feature in The Blade. Good work Maureen!

As for more about the 83-84 season... what kind of man would I be if I didn't shill some of my own work?

Wow...that definately brings back memories!! I dragged BGFan to his first hockey game when we played OSU and were ranked 1 and 2 in the country. It was INSANE in that arena. He was hooked and we have been going ever since!!

Anyone remember Section A yelling at Kruzer: "Hey Kruzer, When's the Baby Due?" They had put panels in the sides of his jesery because he had "outgrown" them!! He just shook his head, you could tell he was cracking up laughing!!

Nothing beats Falcon hockey when that rink is rockin'!!! NOTHING!!!

I do, I do!!! I also remember Section A asking him if there were 49 or 51 states!! :-D My son could tell you a few stories about him too as they lived across the hall from each other one year.
