Tyler Masters
He is playing for the Louisiana IceGators (ECHL) this year and won his first game 3-1, he stood on his head last night. What are his strength's and weaknesses?

Have no idea about the drinking thing, but what I do know is this, the guy HATES to lose!!! And he always wants to play EVERY game!!! Hope he does well down there! Tell him we said, "HI from BG!!"

By the way (F) Roger Leonard is also playing for the Gators this year. He is on our 3rd line and has no points as of yet, but as actually saved a goal and logged 7 PIM.

Get yourself an orange (or brown) BG shirt and wear it to a game - it'll get their attention
Roger is a good guy, and can hold his own in close quarters.
Hope I can see them both play this year sometime.

Master's biggest weakness, IMO, is his size. Given his small stature he has to move very quickly from side to side to cover the net. He does this well for the most part, but he still leaves an awful lot of the net open.
If he allows more than 2 goals he tends to lose his composure and may tank hard. If he doesn't he's a brick wall.

I can't do that. Not in a million years, sorry. For you see I have my Marshall Green and White on as we speak. See you in BG on Nov. 13th. . I just wish the game was being televised on ESPN/ESPN2.

The turd doesnt even have hockey, so you can wear a BG hockey shirt without being a traitor to you team.

IMO, Tyler's biggest weakness was the softies.
It seemed to me he'd stand on his head and make brilliant save after brilliant save only to let in an easy one

Of course this was also in the era that BG had some of the worst defensive play I've ever seen. If your league allows penalty shot situations for the tie breaker decision rest assured Tyler will be in good practice. I've never seen a goalie have to deal with so many breakaways after turnovers or defensive breakdowns.
The guy's a good goalie, I was always a big fan of his.

Thanks for this information, My son is a huge fan of Tyler. I will have to find the IceGators website for him. Too bad the Icegators don't play the Dayton Bombers (Also in the ECHL, but North). We would make the trip out to the Nutt House to see Tyler play.

Tyler was cut by the Gators, he's now playing closer to Bowling Green in the UHL in Fort Wayne. He's 4-0 as a Starter.
