Inevitable. Hockeytown can't handle college hockey within the metropolis.

in a quick thought...Adrian could consider sliding right in and filling the spot,,,wonder how or if they could save, or aid in saving CHA

proposal: we give UAF to the Western League, and we take UAH.
Travel in January would be much better.

Or if UAH were to be leagueless, then maybe Danton would be a free agent.

Id take Wayne and Adrian and drop Nebraska and AK in a heart beat, in an attempt to better regionalize the conference as i believe that better regionalized conference are better and bolster better potential from fans as games are more accessible.

Was Adrian going to go DI to begin with though? I thought they were DIII.

I can't say as this is a good thing for college hockey as a whole. But I can't say that it surprises me, either. I'd heard rumblings of something like this at least a year ago, but I'd hoped it wouldn't come to this.

I feel that as a whole, the CHA offered up better teams and competition than Atlantic Hockey. But being scattered clear across the country makes it difficult for any of those teams to play a league schedule and get some recognition in their own buildings.

I agree with you totally. They were to far spread to get any real excitment

Yes Adrian is DIII they want to build up then move up and as such i doubt they would drop this seasons schedual to do it, but Wayne is finishing this last season so Adrian could slide right on in there and fill that void..it could be made to work fi the powers want it to.
