I'm Torn

Post by BGDrew »

This Friday will prove as quite the quandary as my two favorite sports teams (The Indians and the BGSU Icers) will be playing at the exact same time. I'm thinking of heading to the rink and watching the first 2 periods then heading back to watch the rest of the baseball game, but I'm very torn right now. I feel like a parent having to pick their favorite kid.

That sounds like a plan that will work well, and covers both games. The only that would be better would be if down above the Zamboni rooom they built in a bar ( a tamo style loft, so you could do both.
Another item of note, Buckeye may be setting up to TV this game so check it out with them.

You can always take a walkman/radio/whatever with headphones to the game and do both at the same time.

That is what I have to do. Our kids play in the BGHS band at the homecoming game Friday night. I am planning on taking the radio, staying through the half time show...then leaving for whatever is left of the hockey game!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
