Found this from an article over the weekend:

Sigalet in uniform
Some seven weeks after collapsing on the ice in Providence, in a game against the Sharks, goalie Jordan Sigalet put a P-Bruins uniform on again for the first time, also against the Sharks.

Sigalet was the Providence backup here last night with Andy Franck getting the start in net.

The P-Bruins were without usual No. 1 goalie Tuuka Rask, who was recalled to Boston when Alex Auld’s wife had a baby and Auld got some time off.

Providence coach Scott Gordon said before the game that Sigalet could play if necessary, and could have gone to the ECHL for some conditioning games if the scheduling permitted. Sigalet has been practicing with the P-Bruins for about three weeks.

He has Multiple Sclerosis and his collapse late in the game on Nov. 11 is thought to be related to that disease. In the days after that incident, it looked as though Sigalet might never return to action, but he seems close to proving that prediction wrong.

Unreal. A month and a half ago they were wondering if he'd ever be on the ice again, and now he's ready to go.

I know it's the Hockey board, but my first thought when I saw the headline was Jelani Jordan...

Great news to hear Jordan Sigalet back up and playing again. Talk about a guy with drive and determination.

Amazing. Every kid and adult who ever feels like they are down for the count needs to look at Jordan and what he has done time and time again. Jordan comes to mind when I hear the words--role model.

I really admire his tenacity and determination! I hope he continues to have success both in life and in hockey! The Blue Jackets sure could use another goalie.....
