Visiting Falcon Noise?

We had a group of about 7-8 people that put the entire OSU crowd in their place. There were a few times when (an) Ohio State pep band had to play to drown us out. Anybody hear us? We may have not made as much noise as we thought. Hope somebody can pick up the slack tomorrow as we go for the sweep! Go BG!

It was amazing to hear a small group of Falcon fanatics all the way across the Shott over the entire (small & ineffective) OSwho student section and supposedly "best damn band". The falcon's came out with a defensive intensity and a great pursuit to the puck that I haven't seen in a long time. Just totally awesome!!!!

Skate fast, check hard, put the schmuckeyes in their place for a weekend sweep!

Maybe OSU Hockey needs to pipe in noise like in the RCA Dome

I heard you guys after all 5 goals and after every oswho penalty  . It was like being back at the ice arena. Say what you want about the BG Ice Arena but please pretty please never make a BG ice arena the size of the schott. The place is so dead. At BG if feels like you are on top of the action and there is an intimate feeling that you cannot replace with video board and black curtains in the upper deck.

Thankfully that won't happen at BG! The first time I went to the Schott and walked around, I was impressed...until the game started! Then I thought the very same things you just said! Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, beats the atmosphere in our place when the place is rockin'!!!!

GO FALCONS!!
GET THE SWEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!

The Freaklings and I will make as much noise as possible tonight! We will bring one of our BG flags and Jake's screech is ready to go.

I had the stretch audio on last night and it was clear what team had fan support behind them. :D The BG fans were awesome.

I am so jacked to get down there tonight...even though I gotta miss the 2nd half of the BG/UT women's game.

GO HOCKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

You feel on top of the ice because you are and isn't that great. :D As we hear all the negatives about our facilities it's great to hear what is right about them. Fix the old barn up, keeping winning and fill the Arena then market it to the likes of Fenway and Cameron. Everybody likes an old venue with history, a winner and seats on top of the action. Spin, spin and more spin and eventually the majority will love it.

Unfortunately, that didn't happen as we lost 4-2...sounds like OSU must've gotten an earful from their coach after last nite... 44 shots on goal! Tough to be a goalie in that kind of situation.

They had 41 the night before. Eno had a busy weekend.

I'm not sure who was counting those shots last night, but the shot count seemed to go up every time the schmucks shot into our end many of which were not even on goal...

We had a great time despite the outcome of the game. Value City Arena sucks BiG time. It was more like an NHL game than college. The ONLY time those fans make any noise is then the video board tells them to....typical OSU sheep. I'll take the IA any day of the week.

Great to see and hang with everyone. The good news is I heard last night that BOTH games next weekend vs Alaska will be on Sports Time Ohio...dig that!

Actually they pipe in canned crowd noise at Value City Arena. The "crowd noise" you heard was pre-recorded.

No wonder it seemed louder than it should have been. Pretty pathetic on their part.
