I know this season has been somewhat crazy and I definitely know that we have out-performed all of the pundit's expectations , however what I am unable to understand/comprehend/explain is how the Bucknuts can go into ND and garner 3 points . Makes absolutely no sense to me. Any thoughts?

Simple...when those two institutions come together for ANYTHING, it creates a vacuum of arrogance so large that logic is tossed aside and things aren't always as they seem....

Furthermore, I think it's been discussed here, but ND is a good team, but not necessarily a great one that just matches up very well against us. Then again, I've seen a grand total of zero games this year, so who am I to say?

1. tOSU has some talent, but they have underachieved most of the season. Let's not forget they also have wins over Wisconsin and Michigan.

2. tOSU is a physically big team, and as such matches up well against the Irish.

3. ND has not been sharp (except when they played us) since the Christmas break, going 4-6-4.

3. Notre Dame's playoff position is locked in, they can't move up or down from 4th place...they have nothing to play for.

4. Mark Wilkins was the ref for this series. That means nobody on the ice had any clue what was legal or illegal from one minute to the next, hence anything can happen.

Most of ND's forwards are right handed. I'll let sicsic80 figure that one out..
