nice shot, Jonathan

"Providence helped Lowell get the first goal of the contest just 80 seconds into the first period as Jonathan Sigalet misfired on his clearing attempt and put the puck over the shoulder of his brother, goaltender Jordan Sigalet. Petr Vrana was given credit for the tally, his 20th of the season."

Thats rough. At least it happened at the beginning of the game and not in overtime or late in the third in a close game.

An own goal in hockey? That's pretty bad.

I'm surprised Big Bro didn't beat his a-z-z right there.

I'm sure that's one the family will be talking about for a LONG time!! :-D
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
