I don't know if this is thread worthy or not but Jonathan Sigalet just got traded to the Bluejackets today. I'm assuming he'll spend pretty much all of next year with the Syracuse Crunch. Either way, if he ever makes it to the show it'll be a lot easier to see him play.

He is the second Falcon to have donned the Blue Jackets uniform. I'm pretty excited to see him with Columbus! Hopefully, he'll get a chance to play. They seem to have a lot of injuries every season, so that improves his odds for playing!

more than that...

I just found this article on nhl.com that talks about the Sigalets. It mainly talks about how they've played together for several years and how they won't be able to anymore. http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app/?service=pag ... eid=365204

I don't really understand why people keep talking about the Sigalet brothers. Jordan was one of the best and most liked players while he was Falcon. He was well liked by all of his teammates and each and every fan. Jonathan on the other hand was here for two years. In that time, he proved himself to be a arrogant suck up and was hated by everyone of his teammates. He is a good player, don't get me wrong, but he was a bad Falcon. The hockey team at BGSU has always been a close knit group, and Jonathan just never fit in. I know that when the rest of the players on the team found out Jonathan was not coming back for his junior year, the team threw a party, celebrating his absence.

Jonathan constantly back stabbed teammates and showed very little respect for other students, fans etc. at BG.

Jordan was one of the best Falcons the program had ever seen. I coud read about him and his career everyday. But Jonathan just wasn't. And he is gone. So maybe we can focus on the current team. Or real stars that came through the program like Kevin Bieksa, Rob Blake, or Rich Nagi. Ok, maybe not the last one.

Here we go again, this website is embarrasing.

I'm sure that Jonathan never worked hard or did anything for the program.

Well, this is a BG sports message board. And well, the Sigalets were big part of BG hockey for a good while. So that's why we talk about them. Sorry if the kid did you wrong or something.

I think most of us would love to do that, but its the offseason, not much really to talk about in June besides possible recruits and scheduling

We can celebrate the likes of Rich Nagai. He was one of the orginals that made this program. 156 career points, only 29 behind Brian Holzinger.
Quick skater, good stick and an all round great guy. He is still a Falcon supporter, Rich comes back every year to the Hockey Golf outing.

Ok who are your favorite falcons of all times?
I put Roger Archer on my list of favorites.

I don't know about favorites, but one of the early frontrunners from my days at BG was probably Todd Rierden. Seemed like he was 8 feet tall on skates, which always stood out to me.

Big Siggy will always be my favorite player. Being a CBJ fan I also liked Brian Holzinger.

During my four years at BG, it would have to be Potvin, Blake and Ruchty.
