Bowling Green didn't pick up a single vote in the latest USCHO hockey rankings following their sweep of Northern Michigan this weekend. But of greater interest is where they are in the CCHA (4th place overall) and which CCHA teams are getting rankings and votes.
Lake Superior, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Nebraska-Omaha are all either getting votes or are ranked this week, and ALL of them are trailing Bowling Green in the CCHA standings. Granted, ND and UNO have played fewer CCHA games, but how do you explain the other teams? Especially LSSU and MSU who are both sub-.500??[/url]

24. Quality provider of the truth, for better or for worse.
My guess would be that if we get a win vs ND the votes will start to head our way. LSSU took 4 points (including the shootout) from us and UNO has a good overall record. We may be coming off a sweep, but Northern is in last place, so it doesn't really seem like a big series win to voters. Even though when it is all said and done I think Northern will be a top half team in our league.
