Frozen Four planning

Some of us go every year.
Undecided about driving or flying? Northwest has attractive fares DTW-DCA, about $130 roundtrip. (thanks, Heather)
Played with the idea of Amtrak out of Sandusky, but 12 hours is a long ride.
Looking forward to the games in DC. I suppose Jerry's boys will be there again.

Frozen Four - White House Tours

The way I read it, tickets for White House tours must be arranged through one's Congressman, and must be for groups of ten or more.
Does anyone know more about this?
If 10 or more is a requirement, can we get a group together from Latta's district? I got 2.

If you go to Washington DC, you may want to try this restaurant.

I have always gone to the all-you-can-eat Mongolian buffet part of his restaurant.

The Verizon Center is only about 2 blocks from Tony Chengs.

There's a little place around the corner that makes their own fresh noodles. I don't know the name of it but it has a green exterior and there's always a guy in the front window making noodles behind the smoked ducks. Amazing Lo Mein!

I have a ticket for 10 people to do a Capitol tour on Friday, April 10. 7 of them are taken, so there are 3 left. Briefly, we meet at Bob Latta's office at 1:10 PM for a staff-led tour at 1:30 PM.
If you're interested, pm me and I'll send details.
First come, etc.

When we lived in Virginia we got a tour of congress from our congressman's office. It saves you from standing in line but from what we overheard from other groups you get a better tour with the guides from the visitor center. But then you're standing in line all day waiting for said tour guide.
